If you've tried 93 Brand before, you know what sort of quality and comfort to expect with each new Gi release. Their basic model features the essential specs, ensuring you've got a reliable kimono at an impressive price. The 425 GSM High Tech Pearl Weave is soft yet sturdy, tough enough to stand up those training partners with ruthless spider guard grips. Pants are also very reliable, built from an 8 oz. cotton that breathes nicely and is quite soft to the touch. Both the top and bottom are relatively plain and straightforward, featuring minimal patchwork and contrast stitching (the latter being used only for the otherwise white side vents, cuff openings, and jacket's skirt). A small woven patch sits on the left hip, while each arm is embroidered with its own blue/grey variation of 93 Brand logos.
Soft white taping lines the seams inside of the sleeves, pant cuffs, and skirt, to prevent unwanted loose or fraying threads. Other features include fully extended knee reinforcements and a sturdy 8 oz. cotton-covered collar with an EVA foam core. Fastened at the waist by a cord drawstring, held in the proper position by four drawstring loops.
