It is amazingly good for practicing new technique's but not for heavy hitting or sparing, it lasted about 5 minutes against a bo then I said stop because it felt funny then it completely snapped in half just sanding there, but excellent for technique's.

This bokken is one that is so beautiful you won't want to train with it. The cord wrapped handle feels very realistic and the length of the handle is longer than most which allows for the feel of a traditional samurai sword.
