The sizing chart is all wrong...I even asked a representative what would be appropriate for someone 5'5/5'6 and very slim, he said go by height but the pants and top is just too baggy; the glove part where you slip your middle finger broke after trying it on; instructions are unclear and really generic. I was planning to wear this to a Halloween party, looks like I need to find a tailor fast because I doubt I can get a replacement before then...overall I'm very disappointed.

Hmm well I don't know.. kind of hard to find the right size since I am 85 lbs and 4 feet and 11 inches tall.. but besides that it is nice. I think the set should include a ninja bokken instead of a samurai one though...

I ordered this costume for a party I will be attending (I do not practice Ninjutsu), so I have no previous experience putting this uniform on. When I ordered it, it came quickly, but no instructions. How in the world do you put this thing on properly? I've tried a bunch of ways, but every time I end up looking like a ninja who's mom dresses her. Someone please help!

I have been in ninjutsu for many many years, Now it is time to pass on my training to my kids. I bought this to show them what the Shanobi Shazoku's are like and I like it. The jacket and mask didn't fit but a very good quality. I will buy one for my kids soon.

It arrived nearly a week before I expected it to, and the uniform itself is of great quality. Even though the directions are very vague, they are pretty simple to follow. The mask and hood are a little awkward, but with some sewing the mask fits more snugly. The tabi fit well and are functional, and the bokken is very light and sturdy. Overall great buy.

First the good: The material of everything was of a good quality and weight. It feels light enough to move in without getting to hot but heavy enough to not feel naked. The Bad: 1. The under hood face hole is too large and I needed to pinch and sew the fabric to make it fit my head around the eyes. 2. The outer hood is a little small for my head. The hood's "tails" don't go far enough down. The tie strap was only on one side (prob. by design) 3. The jacket needs a fastening method. Mine seemed to come loose unless I wore the pants high. 4. The hilt on the bokken would not fit all the way around the sword. Not a problem with the uniform, but every one said "get a size smaller" on the boots. I wear an 11 and I ordered a 10. BAD IDEA. I am returning for a 12 exchange. I am going to wear a black t-shirt underneath the entire costume and eventually sew extensions on the hood tails. I may also sew velcro for the jacket. Also, the pant tying was a bit confusing... but I adapted well enough.

I am 6'2, 160 pounds. I ordered the XL Ninja Costume. It's really more of a uniform than a costume. It feels like a real gi and could easily pass if you can manage to put it on correctly. Tabi Boots- I'm a size 11 and ordered size 11. They fit well except for a space where the Velcro joins in the back near the ankles and heel. I may try washing these in warm water as suggested by someone else. But a size smaller would not have fit, so this is not a size issue. The pants are somewhat difficult to tie. They are too large in the waist but fit fine length-wise. No real issue there, they look good. The jacket should have somewhere to tie so it holds together but does not. You'll need to wear a black shirt if you want to cover your top chest. I suggest safety-pinning the jacket together to keep it in place. It looks good, though. The socks and sword are fine. No issues there. The mask is too large, I'm washing it in hot water to shrink. Hopefully, that works. The hood is okay, the tie on that could be better. Nobody likes to have a knot around their neck. The finger elastic strap is too tight and cuts circulation. Remove that and have someone sew 2 small strings so you can just tie it, instead.

The uniform has quality material and construction. The sword was much better quality and size than expected. The pants however were enormous. I'm 5'7 and size 4 but I confirmed with KD that a size Large was the size to order. I assume this was due to my height. Even after strapping up the pants I had enough room in the backside to fit a watermelon in. It looked ridiculous. I will definitely have to have the pants altered. Mask is also enormous. Instructions are completely useless especially for the strap tying of the pants and hood. KD should post some instructions on their site or provide better ones to supplement the ones that come with the package. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

For training, this is a fairly decent uniform. However the 9oz weight cotton is a bit much and can be noisy unless you are really disciplined. Putting it on first time and using it will reveal size differences. It takes some time to adjust, sew, cut, or however to get the mask, hood, jacket and sort all right. They need to make a Dark Grey version. Worth the Price.

The mask is not the best but overall the uniform is good
