This was by far the cheapest gi I have been able to find, and it looks good too. It is not preshrunk, so when you get it, it will look huge. I washed mine in hot water, then dried it on the highest heat possible and it shrank up a good 4-5 inches, making it just the right size for me. (I am 6'1 at 193lbs, and I ordered the size 6). I still can't believe I got a gi for $25. The only thing (which isn't a big deal to me) is I found a couple spots on both sleeves where the threading was coming loose on the seams, but can easily be fixed if you take the time to sew it back. Once you fix the seams (if you need to) even if you rip it all to shreds eventually, you should still get your money's worth out of it. Gi is light weight, and soft. The cut is just right and doesn't fit too big or bulky in spots like some gi's do. I will definitely be picking up another one for practice sometime soon. Hope that helps you make up your mind, you really do get a great beginner/practice gi for the price, you shouldn't be disappointed if you order this, and will probably actually be surprised.

This uniform works best after washing. Afterwards it is great to move in and is thick enough to do any take down or grappling.

I ordered the size 5 unbleached version of this gi. I am 6' and 145 lbs, tall and thin body type. After many washings and repeated abuse this thing is still great. I wash it in warm water and tumble dry it and it still fits great. I get many compliments about how soft this gi is from my training partners. It is indeed very soft and breathable. You can't go wrong with this gi.

Good practice uniform for the cash. It is very light but durable. Not a good choice for competitions.
