Middle Weight Black Karate Uniform

This middleweight student uniform is made from a sturdy 8-1/2 ounce blend of 55% cotton and 45% polyester. This combination of quality materials makes the uniform lightweight and breathable while remaining strong and durable enough to endure the rigors of martial arts training. The uniform features reinforced seams and additional stitching at the lapels and along the sleeves to provide additional strength for the uniform. The pants feature both an elastic waist and a drawstring in order to give you a comfortable and secure fit. The uniform includes the jacket, pants and a white rank belt.

I was impressed with this Gi, especially for the price. It would have been twice as much for one at the karate studio. Quality does suffer for the price but still worth it. Some threads look a little frayed on the bottom edges of the Gi top. Looks cool now but I hope it doesn't get worse (I don't think it will). Saw some fading at the creases after just one wash. Not a big deal for me, I like my Gi to look "worn." The fit is good. Pants are a little long, I'd go down a size but then the top probably would not fit. Easy fix, hem the pants. I'd buy again. By the way, I ordered on a Sunday and had the shipment at my door on Wednesday.

My son attends Bodyworks in Media, PA., Second Degree Blackbelt. Not only does this gi meet the strict requirements of his Dojo Master, but it receives complements from the other students and staff and the most important thing is the coolness factor for a 15yr old. Thanks so much. I will buy another soon.
